About Me
Thanks for taking the time to check out my portfolio! I'm Alex, a Junior Sound Designer at Bulkhead Interactive, based in Derby, England.
I have a strong passion for creative audio and the stories and the immersive worlds it can bring to life. I thrive on the creative and technical challenges that the field of game audio presents. I started my game audio journey in 2018 after graduating with a degree in Music Production (Leeds Beckett University) where I was introduced to the world of post-production for linear media specifically, sound design. After graduating I wanted to combine my new found interest with a life long passion of mine video games. This lead me to enrol in the Sound & Music For Interactive Games masters course at Leeds Becketts University. The course taught me the fundamental concepts, skills and hands on experience with Unreal Engine 4/5, Unity, Fmod and Wwise. Demos of some of this work can be found here.
Since graduating in 2022 I have continued to develop both my skills in sound design and audio implementation as well as taking up roles as a sound designer for small Indie and Games Jams projects in my free time.
Since May 5th 2026 I have been working as a Junior Sound Designer at Bulkhead Interactive. I am beyond excited to share some of the cool projects ive been working on here soon!
